Help Support the Festival

The Okanagan International Children’s Festival features the world’s finest musicians, actors, acrobats, comedians and storytellers! This international celebration of the arts stimulates global awareness and an appreciation of cultural diversity. It is an opportunity to delight in the world of imagination and open the door to creative possibilities for children.

It is only through government grants, corporate sponsorship and donations from individuals that we are able to keep this amazing experience accessible to all. Because of your generosity we are able to offer world class shows that would normally cost up to $25 a ticket for as little as $7 (+HST).

Friends of the Festival

By becoming a Friend of the Festival you demonstrate support for one of the most popular events in the region, keeping our ticket prices affordable whilst maintaining high quality performances. The Friends of the Festival fund goes to helping with the general operation of the festival. Money donated will pay for everything from tent rope to face paint.

Research shows that social, emotional and mental stimulation is vital to the healthy development of children in our community. The interactive nature of the Festival is a great example of a community that supports healthy children and happy families.

Adopt-A-Class

The Adopt-A-Class program supports attendance at our festival by children who would not ordinarily be able to take part in such a world-class event because of financial hardship. Each $7 donated sends a child to the festival.

The Adopt-A-Class opportunities include adopting:

7 Classes (143 children) for $1000 4 Classes (86 children) for $600

3 Classes (64 children) for $450 2 Classes (43 Children) for $300

1 Class (21 children) for $150 14 children for $100
